Tips and ideas from a car dealership, it's our turn … and we have our history!
As you go through the life, there are certain memories that stick with you. Not sure why, but later in life as regards the starting point. For me … 18 years later, he full circle.
It could have been eighteen years ago, but I remember it like it was yesterday. I was in the house of my grandfather in Hawaii for Christmas vacation. I had just played golf and he was hungry. I opened the fridge and trying to understand what I wanted eat. I sort of was there and was trying to make a decision … probably in a sandwich or a quick snack.
"Courtney, closed the refrigerator door. "" I get something to eat. "Decide what you want to eat before opening the refrigerator door. "" How can I make that decision when I do not know what is in the refrigerator? "We need to plan ahead or is it a waste of electricity. "
This was my exchange with my grandfather and I thought it was ridiculous. Shower remember my mother believed that discussion was a bit extreme. She said that's part of what happens when you grow up in a depression.
I remember also when I had my license and my grandmother told me that I could make a turn. I was so excited (even if it was a huge Chevy Caprice Classic). She told me I could get groceries. We're going to 3 different foods, because that's where their coupons could be applied. I remember thinking … living in this huge house … Why cutting coupons? Again, my mother explained that she was part of growing up in depression.
Fast forward about 5 years. Life was good … that selling a ton of target = "_new"> cars and my father decided to give me this "conference". "You never crossed a difficult period in the automotive sector. You do not know what it is. You have no idea what bad times are similar. "He said that sometimes when you build a relationship with a bank, it is the rate. Sometimes you will have a higher rate in exchange for availability of funds. Say this much sense now than they did five years ago!
You know what? Now we can see the bad times in the "list"! My generation has come and now we get a first hand experience! Yes, we have our history. I wonder what my grandfather thinks today. When I was a dealer, GM had over 50% market share. Do you think she ever thought it could go bankrupt? In thought Today, I think I'd like to think that Google might go bankrupt? That may be a difficult comparison because now he feels like anything can happen.
Then, reflecting on the refrigerator door incident cutting coupons, and availability of funds, I learned? What will I tell my children and grandchildren?
* Responsibility for the right time is a necessity because the weather will expose the sins good time.
* Pay off your debts. If everything is paid, you can survive all sorts of situations. • All we have relationships with the plant, but we must learn to operate the plant independent shops because you never know what can happen.
* Lifelong learning and training is a necessity. If you're ready to change, everything will be fine. People who do not accept change prepares to close its doors.
* Keep your priorities. There will be lots of tension in recent years, but if you have faith, family, work … and then the ability to keep things perspective. This will probably add years to your life.
The good news is that my grandfather served in World War II and the store was essentially "closed" for 3 years. When they returned, he said he earns more money than I ever imagined. When the smoke dissipates, there will be significant gains to offset these days.
There are many other articles and would love to hear what everybody learns from these times. That said, what is your story?

Caprice – Alison Balsom $9.53 It is only natural that players of instruments with a limited repertoire should resort to transcriptions, citing a long line of arrangers from Bach to Liszt to Heifetz. However, the suitability of the material is as important as the skill of the transcriber, and you don’t have to be a “purist” to object to some of Balsom’s choices. Some of the transcriptions are her own, some are by Julian Milone,… |
