The King of Soccer Maradona Is Also A Fan of Golf
I wonder you mustn’t be unfamiliar with Diego Armando Maradona, right? Maradona was born on October 30, 1960, in Villa Fiorito, province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was raised in an underprivileged family and spent his adolescence playing football in the streets of his neighborhood. But you could be very astonished at Diego Armando Maradona’s infatuation to golf. Maradona, whose nickname is El Pelusa, has been soaked in golf course after he quit football. Though the soccer genius’ technique to golf is really awful, his passion to it is amazing anyhow.
On April 29, 2004, Maradona was hospitalized for a sudden pneumonia and heart disease. But at the same day, Maradona required to discharge from the hospital regardless of his family’s opposition. In fact, he succeeded. Later, this seriously-ill patient returned to the golf course and played a game which made everybody upset. On May 5th, the poor guy was hospitalized again. Half a month later, Maradona was better, however, the first place he wanted to go was golf course as well. We cannot but admire his courage.
Afterward, when Diego Armando Maradona was under medical treatment in Cuba, he attended a golf club called “Sunday”. His coach was Cuban national champion Suotuomaier. It was funny that this coach asked Maradona to teach him soccer instead.
Being the king of Soccer, Maradona of course owns many limousines like Mercedes-Benz and Ferrari. But after retirement, Maradona likes to driver a electrified waggon which used in golf course. Is that unbelievable? According to Argentine media report, Maradona’s passion to golf is much more than football.
