Repro 1962 Ferrari GTO 250 sponsorship ?

I have a reproduction (not kit car) of 1962 Ferrari GTO 250. How hard would it be to get sponsored at car shows or get it on tv. I have well over 100k invested and would like to see a return on investment w/o selling

Not going to happen.

If you were going to get a sponsorship, it would have been during the rebuild stage of the car.

As it is, you’ve already invested your money, and no company is going to just repay you for something they didn’t have a hand in.

Think of it like building a house on your own, then going to a contractor and asking for free money.

Doesn’t work that way.

As far as getting it on tv or car shows….you can do either, if anyone is interested in it. But again, you’re not going to get a sponsorship, because you’re not advertising anything for anyone.

Finally, whether it’s kit car or not, a reproduction is still a reproduction. Making it not a real GTO250…and therefore…not nearly as interesting to collectors or investors. People want to invest in things that have history. Not replicas.
