Should I just come out and tell my family I’m gay already?
Mom’s been on the “don’t you want to find a nice girl to settle down with?” thing lately and its getting on my nerves. I just want to yell No ma! I want a hot *** boyfriend and a Lamborghini! We have a few psycho Christians in my family, but I’m not to worried about them. I’m more concerned about my mom changing her opinion of me. I don’t want to disappoint her, but I’m tired of hearing about her hetero expectations of me. HELP!!!
most likely she has already had suspicions that you might be gay. I would go to therapy with her and tell her there. A licensed therapist may ease her into the idea that you are gay.
