Which car is faster? 2003 Porsche 911 Turbo Carrera 4 Coupe with a 6 cyclinder gasoline engine or 2000 Dodge Viper GTS 2-Dr. V10, 6-speed ?
911 is waaayyy faster. That car can comfortably cruise at 130mph. The Viper on the other hand was designed more 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. Not many American made cars can handle high speeds for sustained periods of time. I lived in Germany for 8.5 years and when the C5 Corvette was released over there, it was discovered that the transmissions didn’t like the autobahn speeds that much. One guy I talked to was on his 3 tranny, he swore he would never buy an American car again.
