New car West Palm Beach must buy is the 2011 Subaru WRX
Subaru is a name I’ve been hearing more and more lately. Consistent improvements to the brand’s lineup have led to many accolades and much buzz over cars like the Forester and the Impreza. But can Subaru ride the momentum into a new role as leader of the automotive industry? If you ask West Palm Beach Subaru Impreza dealers, they will tell you that the brand is already there. If you ask me, I’ll at least acknowledge that the safety factor is there, the design factor is getting there and the performance factor is at least competitive. But one of the most innovative drops from the rising brand is definitely the WRX, based on the Impreza.
The 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX gets some serious updates that give the car a little more chutzpa. A 1.5 inch wider track in the front and the rear gives the WRX a decidedly more aggressive stance that helps set it into a class all its own. What really defines the 2011 WRX for West Palm Beach new car dealers across the area are the contours in the body. They both sexy and unique, giving the vehicle a much sportier feel. The front intakes also add to the aggressive sportiness, and the firmer rear subframe bushings (borrowed from the STI) complement the wider wheels (17 x 8 inches) wrapped in 235/45R17 rubber – creating a much stickier ride. These are some of the new features propelling the WRX into the limelight at West Palm Beach Subaru Impreza dealers across the area.
“The new wide-body designs mark another major step on the continuous evolution of the WRX to give driving enthusiasts an even more compelling all-wheel drive performance package,” said Tom Doll, executive vice president and COO of Subaru of America, Inc.
Cosmetically, the new WRX model doesn’t only have widened fenders; it also gets a restylized front fascia with a new front lip spoiler, a larger blacked-out grill and larger intakes. And boy does this baby pump – so much so that West Palm Beach new car dealers are taking the car off the lot in their free-time and “test-driving” on their own. The WRX leverages a 2.5-liter flat-four that puts out 265 horsepower, giving the car great speed and versatility for its size. It only added about 34 pounds to its curb weight, so this car becomes really zippy. Want to find out for yourself? Visit a West Palm Beach Subaru Impreza dealership to take your own test-drive.
Well, it’s good to see a brand like Subaru taking advantage of the relative disarray that is the automotive market. Following last year’s major sales hit and the recession, it seems like the industry’s leadership has been up for grabs. While Toyota had been a pretty strong leader, the recent rash of recalls has permanently marred the reputation of the Japanese manufacturer, and the industry is up for grabs yet again. Now is the time for Subaru to move in and grab the top spot, so look for the brand to make a move.
