Where do I go to get a factory spoiler for my 2003 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS?
This may seem like a bit of an obvious question, but this is my first car and I don’t have any experience with adding body parts to vehicles. I’m looking to install a spoiler on my 2003 Impreza, nothing huge or too racecar-looking, and I found a few websites that sell imitation spoilers for my specific model of car. I’d rather buy the actual Subaru parts instead of an imitation, is a local Subaru dealership the right place to start? Will they still order 2003 parts? Any direction would be appreciated

I know spoilers are a bit un-necessary for your every day driver, and will not give me any actually drive-noticeable advantage. I’ve wanted this type of car for a while, and my vision of what it’s going to look like is important to me, I’ve already invested money in roof-racks .
Check out the forums below for people selling or wanting to trade trunk lids. Many WRX and STi owners want the wingless RS trunk lid. This would be much easier than buying a spoiler, getting it painted and installed. Also check your local craigslist ads. I found a door for my WRX, same year and color. Swapped it for my damaged one for less than half of the body shop estimate to repair. FYI – spoilers from 2002-2007 are the same.
